WHAT TO BRING:

*Bedding – e.g. a sleeping bag, blankets, sheets, pillows etc.

*Layers of clothing – The weather varies on a daily basis so make sure that you bring clothing that could be suitable for hot or cold weather.

*Toiletries – e.g. a towel, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc.

*A Water bottle (Recommended)

*Walking/Hiking shoes (Recommended)

*Dry/Non-perishable snacks (Recommended)


LOGISTICS:

COST: The cost to stay on site is £25 per person, per night that you attend the event. To book your place and pay for your accommodation, you can click HERE.

MEALS: You will need to provide your own food throughout the course. There are shops nearby where you can go to purchase the things you need. If you do not have transportation there are usually quite a few people with vehicles on site with whom you can work to go shopping. Please Note: Refrigerator/freezer space is VERY limited. This being the case, please bring as much non-perishable food as possible.

LOCATION: Gilwell Park Chingford, London E4 7QW

Gilwell Park is five minutes from Junction 26 of the M25 and just 25 minutes from central London by train.

By rail – Chingford Station offers a direct service to/from London Liverpool Street with a journey time of less than half an hour. Trains are every 15 minutes throughout the day.

By road – Junction 26 of the M25 is less the five minutes by car from Gilwell Park. Gilwell Park has ample onsite parking free of charge to customers.

By tube – Take the Victoria Line to Walthamstow Central, then take the over ground service direct to Chingford from the same station. The over ground train service from Walthamstow to Chingford is around 8 minutes and Chingford is the last stop on the line.
